BACK TO WORK AFTER BIRTH

Returning to work - without losing yourself

Going back to work after having a baby comes with questions that are hard to say out loud: whether to go back at all, when, and what to do with everything that has changed inside you since. This is not just a logistical transition, and you know that. It is also not long-term therapy - it is focused support, at exactly the point you need it most.

WHO THIS IS FOR

If this sounds familiar

  • You're not sure whether to go back at allBoth yes and no feel true at the same time, and you can't choose.
  • You've decided to go back, but feel like something might breakThe pace, the expectations, the juggle of home and work together.
  • You're used to performing at a high levelAnd for the first time, what always worked for you simply doesn't.
  • You've already gone back and something isn't workingLike doing everything is costing you more than you have.

HOW IT IS STRUCTURED

Two stages

  • Stage 1 - "Whether to go back" (one to two sessions)We listen all the way to both voices inside - the part that wants to return, and the part that doesn't. Not deciding for either of them. Hearing each one fully and seeing what comes up. And what the next step is.
  • Stage 2 - "How to go back, at your best" (three to five sessions, as needed)A holistic map of where you are right now - body, emotions, home, work. I am not here to tell you what to do, and not to fix anything. I believe you already know. What I will do is give you the full picture of what is happening to you - and then help you hear yourself alongside all of it. From there we get concrete, in your own words: what you want to ask for at work, where your limits actually sit, what support you need at home. And after the return, through the hardest first months, this work stays with you - to not fall into survival mode, to take care of yourself and not just everything around you, and to have space for everything that comes up along the way.

Frequently asked questions

When should I reach out?

You can reach out months before your return, or right before it. And you can reach out after you're already back if something feels off. There is no right date.

How many sessions does this take?

It depends on the stage. The "whether to go back" question is usually one to two sessions. Walking through the return itself - three to five sessions, as needed, from preparation through the first months back. No fixed track, no subscription.

Who is this for?

Women who are used to performing at a high level - and are finding that the tools that always worked no longer do. I know these demanding environments from the inside: the pace, the expectations, and what it takes to return to them after a birth. This work speaks your professional language too.

How is this different from career coaching?

This is not career coaching or consulting. I am not here to tell you what to do, and not to fix anything - I believe you already know. What I will do is give you the full picture of what is happening to you, and help you hear yourself alongside all of it, right through to concrete next steps. The view is of you as a whole person - body, emotions, home, work - so you can move through the transition without losing yourself.
